Powering the next generation of compliance at scale
We aggregate and process billions of data points across complex, high-volume environments. Ensuring compliance at this scale requires more than manual checks, it demands intelligent systems built for precision, speed, and adaptability.
That’s why we embed artificial intelligence into the core of our compliance framework. Our systems perform automated data classification, detect anomalies, and monitor access patterns in real time. This enables us to flag potential risks, surface inconsistencies, and enforce strict data governance policies automatically, even across dynamic and evolving datasets.
Our approach allows us to stay ahead of privacy regulations and compliance standards without slowing down innovation. From minimising human error to scaling ethical data practices, AI enables us to uphold the highest standards of data integrity, transparency, and trust, at every stage of the data lifecycle.
We’ve compiled answers to some of the most common questions we receive about Arest, our data products, and how we work. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to get in touch, we’re happy to help.
Arest aggregates data from a broad spectrum of sources, including banks, card networks, fintech providers, and entities across the open banking and payments ecosystems
At Arest, we do not receive or process any personal data. Our data partners are contractually required to ensure that all data shared with us is fully stripped of personal information.
Where needed, we provide guidance and support to help them meet Arest’s rigorous compliance standards. In addition to relying on partner warranties, we apply our own internal controls to further safeguard privacy. This includes proactively removing any fields that could pose a re-identification risk.
All data suppliers to Arest undergo a formal evaluation process. During this stage, our compliance team assesses the level of anonymisation within each dataset and may provide recommendations to strengthen privacy safeguards. These recommendations typically include:
– Omission of specific data fields deemed sensitive
– Additional masking or obfuscation of data elements
– Requests for further clarification or context regarding the dataset
Once the dataset has been reviewed and an initial compliance assessment completed, both the supplier and Arest teams collaborate on any required changes. We also support our partners to implement those changes effectively.
All datasets supplied to Arest are subject to ongoing quality assurance processes to identify and resolve any emerging issues promptly.
